David's planning of the events program and interview schedule for the day was exemplary and carried out on the day with a very professional demeanour which made the entire day function to a degree of professionalism which no-one had envisaged could be achieved by a community based organisation.
We have since received considerable and high praise for the management of the Lighthouse Festival and a considerable amount of that praise should be provided to David Wise for his management and expertise as the Master of Ceremonies on the day.
Danny Rowleson, Division 6 Councillor, Bundaberg Regional Council
David Wise acted as the moderator for four election candidate forums organised by the NewsMail during March and April 2012 - three for the state election and one for the local council election.
I had approached David, an accomplished public speaker, to moderate the forums for the NewsMail because a previous attempt at holding one in 2010 for the federal election (with someone else in charge) had not been as successful as I would have liked. For us, the local paper, it was important to be seen to be organising an event that was open to the community and for its benefit, but to not be controlling it or taking sides, so an independent moderator who kept the evening running smoothly and fairly was crucial.
I found David to be an organised, well-prepared and well-informed host who put a great deal of thought into how we could most fairly run the forums. He was excellent at giving candidates the best chance to put forward their message while also keeping them to their allotted time limits, and ensured questions from the floor flowed freely. Importantly, he ensured questions and answers remained respectful and professional throughout.
As a result of David's professional handling of our forums, the NewsMail quickly built a reputation for hosting successful events of this kind, all of which attracted about 100 members of the public. I would not hesitate to ask David to fulfil a similar role for the NewsMail again, or to recommend him to other groups or employers seeking his services.

Thank you so much for the fantastic spiel on the microphone at the Lifestyle expo on Sunday 30th October.
David put together an amazing spiel to prompt my business "Organise Your" and delivered the segment with great character, I wish I had a tape recording of the segment for my records as it was far superior to anything I have heard to date.
Brilliant job for the whole expo thanks David.

Yes and so say all of us. Again you were wonderful and thank you.
Monica Fraser, Organiser, Bundaberg Property and Lifestyle Expo
I wish to thank you for your efforts as the MC/facilitator at the Together Bundaberg Candidates forum in March 2012. Politics can always be a tricky and risky business, however we felt the affair went very smoothly and that was due in no small part to the professionalism shown by yourself on the night. I would have no hesitation recommending your services to any other party. Cheers and all the best for the future.
Jim Nilon, Central Zone Lead Organiser, Together QLD
David was very organised, before and during the event, he interacted well with the crowd and stall holders, he was able to fill gaps if we fell short on competitors and he made everyone feel a part of the day, including the sponsors which has a huge impact on future events.
Cristel Simmonds, Purple Hive Media
David communicated well with everyone. In particular came up with some great questions and for the children who were showing their pets. David had done a lot of research about different pets and this came across in his questions and talks. I really thought David had put a lot of effort into being the MC for this event.

Wanted to thank you for a fantastic job on Tuesday. You had obviously put a lot of thought into the day and coped really well with the changes to the schedule. We have had very good feedback on your performance. Feel for first time we have run it that it was a great success. Jas Haster, Quota International (re Melbourne Cup Day luncheon and fundraiser)
